This is just a brief note to let the readers know that despite the results of my earlier attempt to get ahold of Jennifer Lynch’s supposed ‘Enemies List’, I’ve decided to try again.
I know, I know. Conspiracy theories. Kooks. I get it. I just want to make sure that I didn’t miss something, something important, because my request criteria just weren’t specific enough, or just weren’t general enough. And so I’ll try again, and see where that goes. And if nothing good comes of it, well, I’m out five bucks for an FOI request, and you can get a good laugh at my expense. Then I can move on to other waters. Sound good?
And so, I’ve filled out another FOI request, and I’ve sent it out. And now, we wait.

I promise no laughing, good or otherwise. :)
While I think this is now well into conspiracy-theory zone, you might as well settle the issue once and for all. I know you’ll be open about what comes of it.
I predict, though, that no matter the result, some of your blogosphere colleagues will continue to hold fast to the “enemies list” myth. At the very least, that will be a great insight into the level of logic and reason at play in the debate.
Like you said – I just want to settle this thing, as much as I can. If my conspiracy theories are validated, then that’s awesome, but if not…well, on to the next thing :)
Actually Kevin the idea behind the original FOI request was not to examine Lynch’s list but rather to determine if information was being collected on individuals – specifically bloggers. Daily visits from the CHRC certainly make one wonder as is the case with my blog.
Thanks for the clarification. I’m assuming you won’t find it offensive that they’re reading your blog–considering you write about them–but would find it offensive if they’ve collecting information about you as an individual?
